have the boy committed, but as it is it is excellent and profound lyrics. Even just turn off the music open the inlay and read it, it is like reading an inspirational and misunderstood poet, 'Messenger of fear in sight, Dark deception kills the light, Hybrid children watch the sea, Pray for father, roaming free’ As an example as if further were needed as a testimony to the man who has made Metallica. Add to that the beautiful and thought provoking cover which depicts 2 great hands moving a series of generic American war tombstones with strings like a puppet, linking the two best songs on the album ‘Master of Puppets’ and ‘Disposable heroes’. Master of puppets is the genius of Metallica at it’s best with an opening from ‘Battery’ and building to the sublime ‘Orion’ ...

The 'Masters' of 'Puppets'

Advantages: Flawless Heavy Metal record, technically stunning time signature shifts with occasional classical structuring
Disadvantages: 20 year old production job, could do with a re-mastering

each song as well as info on the producer, engineer and mixer of the album. The booklet features full lyrics to each song neatly separated with chorus text pushed slightly over, so you know what part of the song your singing to. There are liner notes on the creation of the album and a thanks list just inside the back page. There are several small black and white photo's of each band member throughout the booklet, with a series of colour shots on the back cover. The album cover has a moody red sky with the puppet masters hands pulling strings attached to a series of white cross shaped grave stones. The bands logo looks as if it were carved out of a white marble with darker lines running through which stands out immediately against the deep red background it sits on. The Puppet Show

Advantages: Follows the Balamory TV show
Disadvantages: None

The Puppet Show is a great book which has been written based on the children's television series Balamory. The front cover of the book is a nice bright pink colour with a picture of Archie and a robot and he name Balamory above this in nice bright coloured letters and below the picture is the name of the book in blue bubble letters. At the top of the cover there is a picture showing some of the houses in the Balamory town. The back cover of the book is also bright pink and has a square in the middle which is a slightly different pink colour and has lots of balloons at the top and a description of the story below these. The book is a paperback edition but the cover is made of very strong shiny card which does make is a bit stronger and less easy to rip.
