Advantages: Very Portable and very easy to use Disadvantages: Suffers from poor signal in some remote areas
I use the Pure Highway every day in my truck and I have to say it is brilliant.
It tunes into a spare FM band on my in cab radio and sounds first class.
It is so easy to use and looks great as well. The Pure Highway fits into a small space on my windscreen out of the wiper swipe and keeps me legal.
The Highway takes its power from the cigarette lighter and has an internal Arial that is fixed to the windscreen.
I found this system ok for most journeys but when I was in more remote parts of the country I suffered from digital drop out. The pure allows you to fade this rather than here that awful screeching sound.
I eventually purchased an outside Arial that fits on the cab roof via a magnetic base.
This allows me 100% coverage all over the UK so far.
I rely on my Pure Highway every day and I have to say it has never let me down ...
Advantages: Rewards for spending money I do anyway Disadvantages: Different system of rewards, points expire
Some time ago, when I walked into my Local (Cambridge) HMV, I noticed some posters advertising a little card, ?HMV Pure Points?. I wandered what it was, and so when I was paying for my purchases, I enquired with the guy on the tills.
The Basics
HMV Pure Points, as the name might suggest, is the reward card offered by the shop HMV. Like all other reward cards, you earn points when you spend money in store, or online, the remuneration rate is 1 point per penny. So, spend £2.99 and get 299 points.
The first difference to other reward cards, is that it costs money to join, currently this is £3.00, though when I joined, it was £5.00. However, what is a bonus to that, is that the spend gives you your first points. Since I had spare money at the time, I signed up straight away, though, I guess it could put some people off ...

Album Reviews
Musician (7/97, p.86) - "...Yes, they do sound like a cross between the Dead Kennedys and Ministry: fast, repetitive, low-on-the-neck riffs that hit you square in the intestines....Biafra continues to declaim with the righteous fury that has made him an authority figure in an anti-authoritarian movement..." Q (6/97, p. 134) - 4 Stars (out of 5) - "...A loud rock album for people who are after more than devil worship, dumb blondes and spandex jockey shorts." Magnet (7-8/97, p.70) - "...Machine-gun guitars and hyper-trebled drums underpinning Biafra's high, nagging vocals; songs lambasting the usual suspects.... Delicious!"
