Advantages: the diverse change in pace between songs Disadvantages: 30 second is not enough of some bands
...So Fat Mike gets 101 bands to do a 30 second song each and bungs them out on a compilation. Sounds a tad silly perhaps, but oh no, this cd is brilliant. Featuring some of the greatest bands about in the punk scene from the well known (Pennywise, Green Day, Lag Wagon) to the not so big (Fizzy Bangers, Useless I.D.). It's a superb record. Their is such originallity and difference between the tracks it makes for great listening. One moment you can have the heaviness of Pennywise then you've got the tunefull melodies of the DanceHallCrashers. The Wizo track is particularly good, just counting down their 30 seconds, simple but brilliant.
I really think that people should buy this record for sure, it's a clever slice of punk, a masterpiece and will have to go down as a document of punk at the millenium....

...-design in September 2003 which also saw a change in name from The Republic to Gatecrasher One. This name change also resulted in a repositioning of the brand with the World famous Gatecrasher Trance nights now operating under the name Crasher.

...I cant exactly remember when I first heard A1. But I did know that I would liek them from the start. I was very much inot my boy bands at the time. I was not dissapointed.
As soon as they has released their first song I was hooked. This album has everything that you could want. Great songs that stay in your head for ages, and songs you can dance to. My favourite song had to be 'Be The First To Believe', purrly because on the video, the guys get to swim with dolphins. Even now ehn I listen to the album,I find that I have to sing along.
I would recommed this to anyone who love boybands and great pop songs....
