With a keen interest in gardening and landscaping there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting down to watch Ground Force. Imagine if you can take that enjoyment a step further and extend it to times other than when Ground Force is on television. Of course you could go out and buy a few series on DVD…………. Or you can buy the soundtrack on CD. I bought the Ground Force soundtrack around five years ago and it has remained one of my favourite CD’s to listen to, particularly when I am feeling a bit stressed or tired. ...marvellous actor Dick Van Dyke! Coming straight in with the baffling lyrics about a sweep, the buzz fills the room, and makes you want to get up and dance with a sweeping brush (and so I did!). I love Mary Poppins - it's my favourite musical…ever! And this song is just as grand! I love the whole family working atmosphere in the scene this effective track originates from, as it reflects strong relations between the workers, and how they put sunlight onto even the most negative situations! 10) Cruella De Ville (101 Dalmatians) Roger starts off the song with the 'witch's' name…a frightening thought! This song is quite eerie, not one that could be used to relax yourself! The staccato rhythm makes me want to tiptoe around my room in a long coat! Thankfully, I have yet to do that! ...Well this double CD beast of a release from the 70’s and 80’s rocks legends contains 36 tracks of their greatest hits; with 3 live version of some of their most famous songs. Some of these tracks are even previously unreleased tracks too, so there is something to keep any fan happy! 2h 35min and 26 seconds of value for money! 01 – Eruption A blindingly fast and furious opener. It is his trademark tapping soloing work, the tune although not fantastic is enjoyable. 02 – It’s about time Opens with a damn cool metal sounding riff, which almost doesn’t sound like Van Halen at all until the singing starts. This is one of the tracks previously unreleased, and its pleasantly good, not too different from the classics, but it shows they still have it.
