The queen is dead by The Smiths is easily their best album with the melancholy in Morrisey’s voice really standing out. My favourite tracks are I know it’s over and There is a light that never goes out. Along with The title track and first on the album The Queen is dead. The smiths are easily the best band to come out of the 80’s and well they don’t have much competition really. This is their ultimate album and is not to be missed it was voted as number one in the melody maker all time albums list of greatest albums.
