It is true that Bohemian is like the sliced bread of Queens back catalogue but SHOCK HORROR there were other albums before they released 1975's A Night At The Opera.
I'm gonna go through this album on a track by track basis to give you all a feel for it.

Advantages: Fantastic debut Disadvantages: Gets a little crazy sometimes
...comparison with a lot of Queen other stuff. 4. My Fairy King
despite some rather odd wailing at the start this trackis a true gem. The way the harmonie are arranged is a demonstration of how groundbreaking Queen were at the time this was recorded. Check out the layering during the lyrics "he rules the air and turns the tides, he guides the winds" It's really really quite beautiful. Roger does a great job on screaming in the record. Truly awesome.
... ...what was to come on Queen II. It's quite a good teaser. I think after listening to that i would want to buy the next album!
Overall Queen I probably isn't the best buy if you're new to Queen but if you're starting to get in to them then it's a weel worth purchase. I think it's such a great album. Sure it isn't as good as others such as Queen II and A Night at the Opera but it's a definite must have for any queen fans collection. ...

Advantages: Good guitar and original Queen Disadvantages: Inconsistent at times
Queen emerged in 1973 with their first album, Queen. Prior to this albums release, Queen released a single, "Keep Yourself Alive", also containing "Son and Daughter". In my opinion, this was Queen at their best, For it was during the 70's that Queen were a heavy band.
Most noticeably, they have NO songs from the Greatest Hits, however, do not be put off, Queen were at a stage in their career, where they produced less hits. The best songs on this ... ...we all know better on Queen II.
The album starts off well with "Keep Yourself Alive". This song has great guitar throughout, and is probably the best track on the album. Brian May shows just why he is regarded as one of the best guitarist's of all time.
The next song, "Doing Alright" is not so good. a gentle song, and a much lighter one to the other tracks on this album. this song is closer to pop, and in my opinion never really gets going.

Advantages: An EXCELLENT musical experience Disadvantages: NONE
...signature sound of the earlier Queen material. It makes the song unique!! They also featured Roger's screeching on "In the Lap of the Gods", "Ogre Battle", and "39". I wouldn't want to hear these songs without the famous high pitched Roger-isms. They're an integral part of the experience!! Brian May's guitar work/songwriting on this LP is sheer perfection along with Freddie's vocals, instrumentation and songwriting.
Track List: 1) Keep Yourself ...

Advantages: Is some of the best music ever made. Disadvantages: CDs ware out, you may need to buy 2!!!
...This is the best album I have ever heard, it introduced me to Queen and some of the best music ever made. If you are reding this and you don't own this CD order it at once it is amazing!!! Every song is great!!And this is coming from someone who generally dosen't like music. It incldes some the the best Queen songs ever made, 'Another one bites the dust,' 'Killer Queen,' The Seven Seas or Rhyme,' 'Bicycle Race,' 'Flash,' 'Now I'm here,' and many more. It is worth its weight in gold, and the lyrics are brilliant; the music sounds as if it is being sung from the heavens. I can guarantee that all who buy this CD will replay it a thousand imes over....

...Queen are one of the greatest bands alond with the Beatles to hit the plantet. Freddie Mercury had a fantastic voice when singing for Queen, and it shows by some of the quality songs he produced. Queen's Greatest hits may now be a bit dated but the songs are still quality and worth listening to. Songs such as the Killer Queen, Bicycle race, Flash and Bohemian rhapsody will never die out in this world. People still love the music that Queen produced those many years ago, and I would recommend those who have never heared them before to go and have a listen!...

Advantages: the best album ever Disadvantages: none whatsoever
...This compilation of Queen hits is perhaps one of the finest albums one can buy. It has got everything, in every style. The kind of album your Mum trys to hate, but finds that she can’t. If Bohemian Rhapsody defined Freddie Mercury, then We Will Rock You defined Brian May and, to be fair, most of the tracks are written by wither Mercury or May. However, Queen’s charm is that there are four artists in the band who can churn out good tunes when they are least expected. Greatest Hits is a landmark in the British Music Industry. It is the third best selling album ever in Britain and has been number one the world over. As for the songs, well expect the usual....
