I brought this song for something to chill out to, and was expecting a CD full of chilled out lovey dovey songs. Obviously, the most well known songs were love songs. To give you an example of some of the newer songs on the CD, there was the Pussycat Dolls Stick Wit U and Akon's Lonely (wouldn't really class this as a love song, but close enough). Then of course, you've got the older stuff such as Usher's My Boo, and R Kelly's Bump and Grind, a personal favourite of mine!
To be honset, when I brought the CD I didn't even read the contents of the second disk - I'd already seen the CD advertised and thought I knew whast was on it. I was suprised to find things such as Beyonce's Crazy in love, for those of you who don't know it, it's a loud, summery tune which I definetly don't class as a love song! Also on the second disk was Amerie's '1 Thing'. Now this suprised me, as it is one of the songs that constantly was on in nightclubs last year!! So I was amazed that it had found it's way on to what i thought was about to be a slow and meaingful collection of chilled out love songs!
Now, for the actual love songs, you've of course got to have Marvin Gaye's Let's Get it On, I'm so glad that the CD ends on this song so it leaves it on a good note. For other classics you've got a bit of Luther Vandross and also Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton and The Fugees. These are the sort of songs that I thought would fill the whole album, to be honest with you, although some of the newer songs (such as ushers Burn) were refreshing, songs such as the Black Eyes Peas (Don't Phunk with My Heart) really just ruined the feel of the CD.
I must admit I hadn't heard of some of the songs on the album and assumed that they would be some of the older, slower love songs. I was wrong (Mary Mary - Shackles?!)
Just when you think the CD is getting somewhere, when tracks go from Bobby Valentino to Luther Vandross, Ashanti , Toni Braxtion and then Lemar, Joe's 'Ride Wit U' pops up from no where and kills the mood.
Although the tracks on the CD are definetly varied, it seems like the makers forgot they were compiling a love CD halfway through and started popping in bestsellers instead! A good buy though if your after some good tunes.

To me this album is great!! there isn't a song on it which i dont like! i love all of the songs.
i think its a great value of money , you are getting much more for your money!
its the type of CD you listen to when your with your girlfriend or your boyfriend, as it contains love songs (which its called) but you can also listen to it if your single as it contains songs which everyone loves.

2 Disc Set, with 40 tracks so you can't really go wrong here. It's kind of a mix of the old and the new love songs, but still some timeless tracks from artists like Mary Mary, Aliyah, 2Pac, Anita baker, Toni Braxton and others. The kinds of songs everyone knows. Some lovers tunes and some more faster paced. With Lemar, Wayne Wonder, Akon, Ashanti, Mya, India Arie, as well known young stars of now. But it would have been nice to have seen some younger ... ...at the moment and also maybe a bigger selection of female vocalists like Khelis, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Omarion and others. Still the tracks are a good mix with tunes like My Boo, Usher and Alicia Keys, Satisfaction, Eve, Cry me a River, Justin Timberlake, Sweet Love, Anita Baker, On and On Eryka Badu and lots more. ...

I first bought this cd because i was feeling a bit down as i had just gone through a rough patch. I thought that if i listened to some slow calm songs it would just help me chill out a bit. I thought i knew what the songs were like as i had seen an advert for it on tv. I had thought at first that all the songs would be slow love songs suhc as Stick Wit U by Pussycat Dolls. I am glad to say however that i was wrong and on the contrary, there was quite ... ...my personal favourites....don't you just lvoe the little baby voice?) and My Boo by Usher. What surprised me even more were 1 Thing by Amerie and Crazy In Love by Beyonce. This is because i had thought of them as party songs so this cd definitely cheered me up. =] ...

This is a great cd with some of my favourite songs such as 'stick wit u' by the pussy cat dolls, i never get bored listening to it because it's greatly ordered so none of the songs are too 'samey'.

i think this album is good aas it has many famous singers.
I think it is worth buying...Could be ceaper though =P !
