The R&B Lovesongs album is a great buy and must have preasent, great for aniversaries and birthdays. With many different songs to choose from its a star buy. Perfect exsample of R&B.
1) "Be Without You," Mary J. Blige This song was released in November 2005, it is on Mary's The Breakthough album. Things that make it so great are the strong faith and loyalty expressed. Her unbelievably strong vocals are what also make this song great.
2) "Crazy Love," Brian McKnight This song is amazingly poetic with lyrics that are the highlight of the song.Its very well sung. A great quote from the song is "I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles, And the heavens open up every time she smiles, And when I come home to her that's where I belong, Yet I'm running to her like a river's song."
3) "Love is Stronger Than Pride," Sade If someone has done something to you that hurt you, but nevertheless you've ever found yourself unable to stop loving them, this is your song. This song if for the lovers that think with thier heart, not thier head.
4) "Love T.K.O.," Teddy Pendergrass It is about how sometimes love gets you down when you try to fight it. Other artists including Regina Belle and Hall & Oates, have tried recording versions of this song, but Teddy Pendergrass version is alot better!
5) "Endless Love," Luther Vandross & Mariah Carey First recorded by Diana Ross & Lionel Richie in the mid-1980s, recreated on Luther's 1994 album of duets called Songs, seamed to be reborn.
6) "Forever in My Life," Prince The Purple One is a master at crafting sexy ballads. And of of his best is "Forever in My Life," were he puts all other women aside an talks about marrage to that one special lady. A very special quote is "I never imagined that love would rain on me, And make me want 2 settle down, Baby it's true, I think I do, And I just wanna tell you that I wanna with you."
7) "If I Ever Fall In Love," Shai The group Shai left an indelible mark on music history with this song, which can be found on their album, also called If I Ever Fall in Love. Both the original version and the remix of the title track are ACE.
8) "Sweet Love," Anita Baker It's a classic - and classy - example of the best R&B has to offer. What more can i say?
9) "No Other Love," Faith Evans It a perfect example of why when she first debuted, some people said Faith would be just as big of a star, if not bigger, than Mary J. Blige.
10) " I Know What Love's All About," Anthony Hamilton This song, which is on Hamilton's Ain't Nobody Worryin' album. Its all about true love and how it can influence and change your life forever.
I love R&B Lovesongs.The CD contains a great selection of artists playing great songs to listen to alone or with your loved ones. Its got artists from the past up to the present trying to show thier feelings you can do the same! A great buy to impress a special someone! Im sure it will make a great present for them!
