Classic club anthem. Everyone knows this one and is the best way to kick off the compilation, the track was new at the time and was very popular ad so it was the best way to start off the album; with a tune everyone is familiar with.

Classic club anthem. Everyone knows this one and is the best way to kick off the compilation, the track was new at the time and was very popular ad so it was the best way to start off the album; with a tune everyone is familiar with.
2. "Your Body's Callin'"
**Four Stars**
Great slow jam by Kelly; he knows how to do them best. Its a shame he doesn't do as much of this anymore, its all aparently about strippers and such.
3. "I Believe I Can Fly"
**Five Stars**
Nobody can claim they have not heard this. It is a classic but it was watered-down far too much. However this could not have been looked-over for the albumas it was one of the biggest-selling tracks he ever brought out.
4. "If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time"
**Three Stars**
This is another nice and slow-paced one from Kells I didn't enjoy this one as much as others, but not a bad choice as it was one which sold well.
5. "Bump N Grind"
**Five Stars**
"I don't see nothing wrong with a little Bump N Grind". It was a great decision to include this, one of his great throwbacks. His slowest R&B tunes did him well showing his great volcal capabilities.
6. "She's Got That Vibe"
**Five Stars**
The tempo is brought back up again with this debut single by R. kelly along with Public Announcement in New jack Swing style. THis is a good throwback tune, essential for this compilation as this is how he gained his fame.
7. "Thank God It's Friday"
**Four Stars**
This track really gets you hyped up for the weekend and you definately have to plpay it as your getting ready to go out as part of a routine, it works with it extremely well.
8. "Gotham City"
**Two Stars**
Batman soundtrack. I didn't enjoy that film nore this track which went along with it, I see no place for it here.
9. "The World's Greatest"
**Five Stars**
i find this to be an inspirational track, very emotional and is a classic from Kelly. They could not have missed this one from here as it was higly popular and enjoyed by many as myself.
10. "I Wish"
**Five Stars** Another nice track which follows on where from where "World's Greatest" finished off. I enjoyed having this on here as it is one which isn't the first choice as one of his best but it is eventhough it is less known.
11. "Fiesta (Remix)"
**Four Stars**
Nice collaboration with Jay-Z. THis has a great summer vibe to it which I enjoyed, i definately deseverved a place here.
12. "Home Alone"
**Five Stars**
This is a underated house party anthe, it gets you jumping with its catchy tune. The single also features Keith Murray rapping for that extra special touch.
13. "Down Low "
**Four Stars**
Featurig Ronald and Ernie Isley, this was one I was less familiar with but I enjoyed despite the barrier of previously knowledge. It is one of his slower ones and calms down the CD after a great club tune.
14. "When a Woman's Fed Up"
**Four Stars**
This is a '98 release by Kelly which I find to be very depressing. I enjoy this one a lot despite its content which is made to bring down your mood, Kelly makes this theme reflect in his voice.
15. "Your Angel"
**Two Stars**
Well I can see why it was included but this duet with Celine Dion is just not my cup of tea.
16. "The Storm Is Over Now"
**Four Stars**
This is an up-lifter, it gives you faith in the future, much like Michael Jackson's "Earth Song". It is a good way to end the album as it makes you feel free to go out and do things.
Disk 2
1. "Snake (Remix)"
2. "Bump & Grind (Old School Mix)"
3. "Down Low (Nobody Has to Know) (Live To Regret It Mix)"
4."Step in the Name of Love (Remix)"
5. "Ghetto Religion"
6. "Gotham City (Remix)"
7. "Thoia Thoing"
8. "Touched A Dream"
I will speak generally about the final disk, I liked the originals much better than the remxes and it would have been better to just just more of our favourite tracks from Kelly on the second disk. I did however enjoy the new material which was put on the CD, a nice surprising inclusion to this compilation of the best work form R. Kelly
This is the utlimate collection of R. Kelly and does reflect his work throughout his career. Obviously from what was said before, the fosrt CD was much better than the second it doesn't spoil the album as the new tracks make up for this.
...to the hotel lobby (as R Kelly + chums would do), what song is the crowd dancing to? It has to be...Ignition! The ultimate floorfiller, well in my opinion, then you've got the sexy slick Snake to slither around the dancefloor to, or the ballad The World's Greatest to slow down the tempo to continue the party all through the night with the fellas on ma left, honeys on ma right....you know how the song goes. When I purchased R Kelly - The R In RnB ... ...- OK so I love R Kelly and love ballads, great for an allnighter with your partner, but as for this great CD I could take to a friend's house party, well I would have to look elsewhere. I purchased it for £11.99 which I thought would be a great bargain, well you can buy it much cheaper and boy am I not surprised. Those die hard R Kelly fans will love this but he ain't going to win any new fans with this CD. Greatest Hits, I thought it was pretty ...

Advantages: covers all the necessary bases, floorfiller, ballads etc Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea
...Stating he puts the r in 'r n b' , its certainly a catchy title if somewhat a modest claim. So what do we have here? 18 floorfilling songs that would keep us partying, to coin a phrase off Mr Ritchie - all night long-? 18 ballads to help us get through those excess kleenex?18 soulful love songs to make sweet love to? Well unsuprisingly he's opted to a fair mix of all.
Now ive read a couple of reviews on this cd from other ciao writers, and i have ... ...very basic knowledge of all r kelly songs, never purchasing any of his material before.
The opener Ignition sets the tone nicely. Everyones heard it.Everyones dreamed of having a 'fro to match R's.Everyone likes it. A classic that never disapoints and never becomes stale.
Your body's calling follows the upbeat Ignition with a soulful groove that gets the feet a tappin' and the head a shakin'. Had never heard this song before purchasing this collection. As ...

...very biased here given that R Kelly is one of my all time favourite artist. Not only has the man got talent in writing his songs, he also has a way of singing like he is giving a personal peformance.Personally, I think he is simply brilliant which is why I am going to rate this CD as nothing short of another hit release from R Kelly. The excellent mix of the old and the new,the slow and the fast makes the compilation a must have. The Fiesta remix is ... ...tunes is amazing.Storm is Over Now is an excellent finish to CD one.
The bonus disc was a good idea with Snake and Thoia Thoing bringing in the dancehall beat.As I said,I can never fault R Kelly despite of what is going on in his personal life. The man is gifted. ...

Advantages: Some classic songs with the best of the new Disadvantages: 2 many remixes, not enough classics
Considering the fact that R Kelly has released 6 albums prior to this, with several of them double albums, you would have thought they could've done better than 16 tracks on this album (disc 1) and the 8 tracks (3 remixes of which the originals r on disc1) of disc 2.
There are some good classic tunes here with the latest releases, however a lot of the tracks are only included as they made it into the mainstream pop charts (Gotham City,I'm your Angel).
... ...R in R & B at least include some classic R & B from the days when it was more raw and not the pop-r&b you find today.
What happened to classics like Homie Lover Friend, the funky She's Lovin Me and the spine-tingling Sex Me and Honey Love?
Could have included these excellent classics instead of re-mixes of Bump n Grind and Down Low since these r on the album anyway in their original (and better) forms
Some good tracks on here, but I could've compiled ...

...who enjoyed early and mid-1990's R 'n' B.
The first C.D. is surely the best , more typical of Kelly's commerical releases and all the catchier for it. Yet this first C.D. also provides the best mix on the album-slow tracks such as "I Wish" and "If I could turn Back the Hands of Time" are sandwiched between the fast and furious "Home Alone" (featuring Keith Murray) and "Thank God it's Friday".
There are also some new tracks, including the infectious ...
