Tyketto- Don't Come Easy Don't Come Easy is the first and arguably the best album by Tyketto. Tyketto were very radio friendly in their musical style and are considered by many as likened to a harder foreigner. Tyketto are a hard rock band and they released the Don't Come Easy album back in 1991. Comprising ten tracks Tyketto clearly set themselves a high standard to live up to on later albums. Review of Don't come Easy - Tyketto

A grand certainly don't come for free

Advantages: Interesting concept for an album. Good Lyrics
Disadvantages: You'll either love it or hate it.

Love him or hate him, you cannot deny that the guy has talent. Mike skinner is an extremely good lyricist and the way he puts together songs that are about normal every day life strikes a chord with a lot of people. The second album from the streets is slightly different from the first album. It is very much like a concept album, which tells a story from start to finish. Starting with Mike being down on his luck with the song "it was supposed to be so easy", the album moves through an obsession with gambling, a night out on the smash in a dance club, arguments with his girlfriend, mates backstabbing and eventually being dumped by his girlfriend. The story told is very similar to what Mike went through when he was younger and it is quite compelling. Some of the tracks are a bit sketchy. For example the single "Fit but you know it ...

A Grand Don't Come for Free

Advantages: Real, down-to-earth music
Disadvantages: Language not suitable for kids

The rhyming of the lyrics sounds forced at times, "If I'm talking to you, you shouldn't be gawping in thin air, what about us, as in pair." Later on in the song, Mike Skinner's vocals come in later on. but sound like an out of tune atempt at singing. Really not the best on the album at all. Track 7: "Fit But You Know it". This is a bouncy, summery-feeling, more catchy track. It's definitely more musical than any others on the album, and borders slightly, in terms of the music, on pop music.
