Despite not initially intending to do so, the Brooklyn-raised rapper Saigon constructed (wrote and recorded) his second album in just 24 hours, and so appropriately named the project "All In A Day's Work". He comes across a temping agency run by Jean (Judi Dench), but unbeknown to both of them they both knew each other before the war and before Lionel goes off to war. He ends up marrying (or so we are lead to believe although it is not actually too clear asto what happened to his wife), and Jean is a widower with a grown up daughter (who also works for her mum in the family business).
Their friendship starts to blossom again, to the point where they decide to 'make a go' of things again - to the delight of Jean's daughter, who never ...
