This has got to be one of the funkiest "metal" bands of all time. The bassist uses funk to the max. FUNK FACTOR 5 BABY!! Or something... This album starts with an ass-whoopingly funky bass intro, for a song named Bombtrack. This goes onto one of Rage's most famous songs.. "Killing In The Name Of" which involves a very rebellious bridge.. "f**k you, I wont do what you tell me!" repeated so many times, you lose count. This then goes onto a nice solo from Tom Morello, one of the most talented guitarists today. Many songs on this album contain politically based, and often offensive lyrics. They are generally used as an attack on governments and other powerful figureheads. Even if you don't understand most of the political references, the album is still very impressive music-wise.
