Rage Against the Machine are one of the modern day, true grit bands. Their songs are all heavy and usually have a message. The political messages behinnd their songs make the album a classic, that you can just listen to again and again. Featuring some of the greats, such as "wake up" (The song at the end of the matrix) and "killing in the name of". This is an essential album that all true indie music lovers should own. Their unique blend of heavy rock and indie, combines to produce a unique sound, that only thhey can produce.

Only thing can be said about this Great CD is its Great. It has all there biggest hits like killing in the nam and bullet in the head. it also has wake up , the theme track to the matrix. With zack de la roacha on lead vocals you cant go wrong add that with amazin rifts from tom morello u have one amazin album. This isnt just rages best but the best. Rage have released 4 albums and this is the best closley folowed by renegades, but that is more funk. this is rap/rock baby nothing goes wrong
********************** But although the language is sometimes abusive and controversial, they are in no way simply a band that insults just for effect; the furiosity comes from their morals, values, opinions and beliefs about our society and the world in general. Being Mexican himself Zack De La Rocha puts enormous amounts of feeling and energy into his performance, which would of course be nothing without the original bass and guitar riffs by Tom Morrello and Tim Commerford which are held together excellently by Brad Wilk's drumming.
1. Bombtrack 2. Killing in the Name 3. Take the Power Back 4. Settle for Nothing 5. Bullet in the Head 6. Know Your Enemy 7. Wake Up 8. Fistful of Steel 9. Township Rebellion 10. Freedom

'Rage Against The Machine' by 'Rage Against The Machine' is literally one of the best albums ever made. That's no exaggeration. It is of course a fantastic album to dance, jump or naturally mosh along to. Honestly can't think of anyone I'd rather dance to from the past couple of decades than Rage, and that says a lot about their music. It's moving in a very physical way, it drives you. It is the fuel of revolution. So forget your apathy and buy this album. It's one of very few albums I can leave to play every track one after another without having to move up to my favourite tracks. A consistently good album.

Advantages: Great vocals, amazing guitar (as a guitarist I must say I'm impressed), Tim C rocks on bass, Brad Wilk, great drummer. Poitical, loud. Disadvantages: absolutely none whatsoever
