Surviving Survivor Series...

Advantages: There were a couple of excellent, well paced matches, some good performances
Disadvantages: Many matches not given enough time to grow, some sucky non-wrestlers stealing spotlight

comparison. However, one day I would be keen to update this event onto DVD format; there are many good, solid matches on here that ok perhaps weren?t maximised to their full potential, are still enjoyable to watch time after time. I?m thinking in particular about the Team Austin vs Team Bishoff match; although bias, Shawn Michaels? performance in that bout was exceptional. He?s a born performer and, although in his forties and aging by the day, this match alone will prove that he still has ?it? and can make his opponents look stronger and more credible than they would have done with a less charismatic and sympathetic performer working alongside them. Buy Survivor Series 2003 if you watched wrestling in the late nineties or early naughties and want to see how the product has changed. If you?re not a wrestling fan, don?t bother with this one ...

Street Survivors for the music

Advantages: Great material. That Smell
Disadvantages: Deaths three days later

I doubt Few album releases in History have ever been like the release for Lynyrd Skynyrd's fifth album Street Survivors. The reason is just three days after the release the band were involved in a Plane crash that killed the following Ronnie Van Zant, New guitarist Steve Gaines and his sister Cassie Gaines as well as the pilot, co pilot and the bands assistant road manager. Guitarist Gary Rossington's injuries were so severe that he had steel rods fitted in his right arm and leg. He suffered broken bones to both arms, both legs, both wrists, both ankles and his pelvis, **Street Survivors** The original cover you see with the review was replaced out of respect for the deceased members of the band due to the flames around the band in the picture. Review of Street Survivors [Remastered] - Lynyrd Skynyrd

A Chapman Revolution

Advantages: Great lyrics, very thought provoking
Disadvantages: sad at times

' tells the story of how racial hatred is tearing the world apart. 'Baby Can I Hold You' sorrowfully covers the 'guy takes advantage of the girl' relationship and was recently covered by Boyzone (badly I might add). 'Behind the Wall' paints a vivid picture of domestic violence and what it was like before it was taken seriously as a crime. 'Mountains O' Things' which is a parable set to music concerning the way we enslave ourselves to material objects and obsession with what we think to be success. I also have all of Tracy Chapman's other albums and apart from maybe 'crossroads' none of the others come close. Tracy Chapman deserves far more success than she achieves. This album is one I listen to time and again and certainly makes my top 10 album list. ...
