Advantages: GREAT VOCALS , LOVELY SONGS FROM A YOUNG WHITNEY
Disadvantages: Not enough dance songs

...I am a massive Whitney Houston fan. My first Whitney album was the Bodyguard back in 1992, And since then i fell in love with her magnificent voice. I have now got all of her albums!!!! This album Whitney , has so many good classic Whitney songs on it. My fave is I Wanna Dance With Somebody. The other well known hits include So Emotional, Love will Save The Day,Where do Broken Hearts go and Didnt We almost Have it all............ There are also some other very good songs on the album , one being I know HIm So Well , where Whitney has teamed up with her mother Cissy Houston for this amazing ballad. Whitney the album - a fresh young Whitney with a clear voice , reacing all the right notes.....This album is a must for all Whitney fans new and old............ Advantages: Upbeat, good mix, strong vocal range
Disadvantages: Couldn't follow up her early success

...Another golden oldie that I'd completely forgotten about until my partner began playing it in her car one day. Zoe was a one hit wonder from about 9 years ago, with the Top 10 hit, Sunshine on a Rainy Day, which was a big brassy rock ballad that beamed so much energy & optimism that you felt it could actually lift anyone's spirits. But apart from that and perhaps her follow up, Lighting, she soon disappeared into the mists of time. Which is a great pity because replaying the CD now one cannot fail to be impressed by her decent vocal range and good choice of sampled music, most of which was always upbeat. Tracks like Mountains, Moonsister & Smile in the Darkness were radical departures from the more easily accessable stuff such as Sunshine on a Rainy Day. And that's probably why her career never really took off the way it should have... Read review
