...that everything was spot on before going to recording stage. With both recordings done in 1992, there is little change to Cobain’s vocals, nor the lyrics (something which he occasionally fiddled with throughout his demos), but it’s the little things that touch you the most about Kurt. One such little thing would be the eerie sound of baby Frances Bean Cobain, crying throughout the band version of ‘Rape Me’, as if she were right there by Cobain’s side during the recording. It adds the feel of genuine emotion to the recording, the very fact that his daughter was such a close part of his life that he would have her in such close proximity to his music. 1. Advantages: The Great, The Unknown, The Story and The Scandal that was Nirvana
Disadvantages: Better Late Than Never

...and public. A series of singles maintained the success of NeverMind, namely "Come As You Are" and "Lithium" rocketing Nirvana into supreme status as rock stars. NeverMind in it's entirety was probably one of the most prolific developments in chart music during the early 90's, and the introduction of alternative/grunge rock as it was labelled. 1992 released Nirvana's second album of B-side tracks to previous singles, although did not demonstrate the same hysteria that NeverMind had created. A year later Nirvana returned with a third smash album entitled In Utero written/ recorded in 2 weeks again propelled the band back to supersonic success, and a hot of singles followed taken from the album and remixed for release.
