...Out of the Cellar is Ratt's 1984 album and their first real album despite the fact they had first got together back in 76. This is possibly the best album ever to come out of San Diego! Ratt's glam metal style is fun and not to serious, they write songs for boys about fun subjects and have an anthem sound to the choruses which often contain instant lyrical winners like "She Wants Money" or "I'm Insane".
The different individual styles of both guitarists ensure that your ears will ring with a maze of solos that weren't highly rated at the time but are now considered to be the essential ingredient to this classic 80s metal album.
The cover is a bit racy, featuring metal model Tawny Kitaen in a leather vampiric outfit. She was dating the guitarist at the time and went on to be more well known in Whitesnake videos as she married David...

Advantages: cheap insurance, very economical, easy to park Disadvantages: rattly, common with wheel bearing problems, driving position very uncomfortable
...The fiat punto is a good little car. Although i have had bad experiences in the past with fiats. its a good little hatch and is fun to drive. economical and there is plenty of styling products available for the little punto. it does have its downfalls but has come a long way since the first puntos. as always the fiat is a bit rattly and wouldnt recommend driving long distances as may be a bit uncomfortable.
if i was to get one i would get the sporting as it has all the extras e/w, e/m etc and is nippy with its 1.4 engine yet economical too.
i have worked in garages and driven these cars and they put a smile on my face everytime i drive them as they take corners well. forget the 1.2 though, go sporting!!...

Advantages: Mega all the way through Disadvantages: None

Metallica had sounded original with their previous albums, but this record was totally fresh and made Metallica's contemporaries (Dio, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Ratt, Cinderella etc) seem dated and, well, a bit silly.
If you like metal and don't own this album, get it.
It's a real pity that the band sold out by going to Bob Rock for later productions. If they hadn't sold out, they might still be making music that comes close to this. Sadly, they went rubbish...
