Rave Anthems Vol.1 (Old Skool Classics) - Various Artists

Advantages: Brings back the good old days!!
Disadvantages: None i can think of, could have had 3 CD's instead of 2 maybe

...Ministry of sound back to the old skool is a CD which I borrowed from a friend at work, bearing in mind he is only eighteen I didn't expect him to come up with this. The CD cover is bright green with a bid yellow acid smiley on the front with the words back to the old skool written in white under the smiley. Disc one is yellow and disc two is green making them easy to tell apart, im not sure which disc is my favourite so I shall start with the obvious one first. This is also quite strange for me I am so fussy when it comes to music I usually only like one out of the two CD's or maybe only a few songs on a particular disc, that's why I decided to write a review on this one, so bear with me and feel free to push me in the right direction if I make a total mess, as this will be the first music review I have ever done. Advantages: Non Stop Ibiza Club Classic's
Disadvantages: Non it's one of the best CD's i own.

...I would going back a few years when i bought this and the tracks are even older with tracks like' zombie nation' and 'cafe del mar' you know what i mean. These Ibiza club classics are what defininded a generation and possibly what put the clubbing capital on the map. They're the tracks that will get any crowd up on their feet and dancing because they're ones that plainly can't be ignored. As produced by the ministry of sound expect every track to be cleverly mixed into the next creating a non-stop classic feel. Well there are the odd ones that aren't so well mixed as if stop has been pressed and start for the next one. Also some of the tracks seem quite short and rushed but i suppose that has to be done to fit so many classics onto the two disc's. Without doubt everytrack on this CD is legendary, they certainly could show... Read review

Advantages: A good mix of songs
Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework

...A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to. I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you,because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-) Housework vol 1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie. The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits,but I honestly think its marketed wrong,this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents...
