Album Reviews: Musician (5/93, p.89) - "...[guitarist Greg Martin] is in fine form....opts for more of a boogie/hoe-down approach..."
Advantages: The caves, good city music scene, history, fun small towns Disadvantages: Scary small towns, Not a lot to do in cities, Backwoods People
...I think everyone after hearing about "Kentucky", think of people with really thick southern American type accents, the Kentucky Derby, or being just another backwoods area in the US.....and actually.....they are very right in those assumptions=)
Kentuckyians hearing this, might start to scream in outrage and say "Come on! There's more to Kentucky than our annoyingly thick country accents, the small shacks with tin roofs, and horse racing!"
Ok ok, they're right too. I guess there IS more to Kentucky than meets the eye. Since I've already written in another review a plethora about my home state of Michigan (which is two states above Kentucky), I might as well talk about another place i'm very familiar with. A place where my Grandmother is from, where her parents were from, and her grandparents were from. Back about 3 more generations...

Advantages: Fun for the whole family, available quite cheap now. Disadvantages: Not widely sold, can get a little repetitive.
...I have always been a fan of Rayman from back in the days when it was on the PC and was definitely just a platform game! I brought this game half heartedly as it was pretty cheap and I wanted to spend some credit that I had for Gamestation so I brought this for around £12.00 very recently.
This game is very interactive (as per most Wii games) and there are lots of game such as champagne popping etc when you have to use the Wii Remote and the Wii Nunchuk and this is definitely great for youngsters as it gets them on their feet and at least doing a little bit of exercise and interacting with the game keeps them occupied.
There are lots of stories to the game and little trials that you have to do to entertain the Raving Rabbids that are supposedly your kidnappers!
It's all harmless, silly fun really and I would definitely recommend...

Advantages: Quick and Easy Read. Simple Concepts. Well Written. Disadvantages: Slightly corny. US Perspective may put of fsome readers.
...father never had to advertise ? through thick and thin, his customers were his best evangelists and spokespeople ? the ?raving fans? to which the book refers. That?s not to say he pleased everybody, as some people will never be happy regardless of what you do for them, but his repeat business and referrals were testament to the success of this philosophy.
THE DRY DETAILS
Let me get the mundane, boring bit out of the way first. ?Raving Fans?, is written by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles, the former who, in business circles, is well-known and respected for his excellent ?One Minute Manager? series of books. I was actually given this 132 page guide as part of my orientation at my new workplace about three years ago and it still resides on my desk at work as a permanent reminder of its very useful principles.
The paperback version...
