Wow. What an amazing comeback for the Queen. Madonna has had yet another music makeover and once again, she succeeds. To be honest, I didn't like this album much at first, but it grew on me and now I can't live without it. I think that this album certainly reflects the maternal and newly established spiritual side of her personality. She creates a different mood with every track, from my favourite track, 'Swim', which is very calm, through the techno beat of 'Ray of Light' to the tranquil, soothing, 'Sky Fits Heaven'. She has even adapted a traditional yoga prayer into a song with strong Indian musical influences and Asian lyrics, titled 'Shanti-Ashtangi'. The only song I really didn't like was 'Mer Girl' - very depressing, though the rest of the album makes up for this.
