When Razorlight first burst onto the scene with "up all night" i was truly excited and i waited for this album in the greatest excitement. This album does have alot to offer, however in my opinion lacks the charisma and fun feel of their debut album. Saying this however, there is still some great qualty in here.

1. In the Morning 10/10

A great start to the album, Razorlight at their best. This is one of those great upbeat sing along songs that we loved from the first album.

2. Who needs Love? 7/10

A brave song to write, theres something all of us who have expericenced the strange feeling of love can relate to. The quality of music is great here, rich and vibrant. A great singalong song.

3. Hold on 6/10

A nice happy tune with a style simalar to that of the debut album. Sadly lacking lyrical quality but a real good dance tune.

4. America 6/10

To be honest, i dont particulary like this song at all. I think its depressing, unoriginal and lacks style until the end. However it does have some thoughtful lyrics "theres nothing on the TV on the radio that means that much to me" that ring home to me, but that is sadly all. i just think this song is a bit out of place on this album.

5. Before I fall to Pieces 10/10

Woo! i get tired just listening to this song! Its worth buying this album just for this song. Its clever, uplifting and everything we expect from this band. Original and clever lyrics coupled with a great rhymic tune and the charisma we love to hear from a good lead singer.

6. I can't stop this feeling i've Got 5/10

This song is a bit like America except a little less bearable. This is a comedown after the "Before i fall to pieces", which i personally could do without.

7. Pop song 2006 4/10

I'm sorry but what is this song? Its a good attempt at recovering that style we liked from "up all night" but it just feels incomplete all the way through. The singing here is pretty annoying and the whole song just lacks charisma.

8. Kirby's House 8/10

This is a good song in a way i can't particulary describe, and saves this album from the near-death courtesy of "pop song 2006" and "I cant stop this feeling ive got". its vibrant and adds alot to the album musically and lyrically.

9. Back to the Start 7/10

Another good song , great music with a great intro and some nice lyrics.

10. Los Angeles Waltz 8/10

A great finish to round off a great a album. Some good music here and really shows off RAzorlight's improved style. Some good lyrics too here.

conclusion

Great album, however abit of a letdown after the success of their Debut. But still for fans of the rock/indie genre, this is a must-buy.
