Jill scotts new album follows on from her "who is jill scott" album if you ask me. There are 15 tracks on this "the real thing" and the best ones are as follows: Track - Breathe (great lyrical skills) Track -The real thing (rockesque very much like en-vogue) Track -Come see me (is a stand out track on this album, very soft silky ballad) Track - Crown royal (is a melodic earfest, however this seems like an interlude as it is too short). Track Epiphany (is something on another level, its a sexual track but doesnt use vulgar language, you will have to be of a mature sexual nature to really get what was being expressed, just very intelligent) Track - my love (is very similar to a track on the "who is jill" album but nevertheless still soothing) Track - celibacy blues ( is just that, a blues track about celibacy but sung by the queen Jill) Track - all I (is one thats going to be played a hell of a lot I guarantee you its a slow jam) All in al this is an excellent album that you could play straight after who is jill scott and think that it is one whole long album.
