Salvation Black Rebel Motorcycle Club can easilly be pegged as 'britpop wannabies', but though fairly unoriginal the bands songs are quite good, so that makes up for the lack of originality. After buying this album BRMC became easilly one of my favourite bands. This album is an impressive debut, and it manages to combine (nicely!) 60's psychadelic rock and garage rock. And although sounding fairly like a mix of Primal Scream and Jesus and Mary Chain, they have still managed to create a bit of their own style. I would recommend this album to fans of the Dandy Warhols, or Jet.... Read review

Back in the hot and sticky August of 1976, two young talented men answered a small and yet, at the time, a meaningless ad in a music paper to create a punk rock band.
