Recently - New true love. A really nice song about the beginnings of being in love, and the sense of certainty that brings.
Dancing Nancies - One of their most popular early songs, this time in a great acoustic style (see above). A definite winner.

All Along the Watchtower - You may already know this song, but the DMB stamp it with their own inimitable style.

In tone, this shows a change from "Remember Two Things" with the inclusion of an acoustic version of Dancing Nancies, which shows off Dave M and Tim Reynold's guitar skills, which are considerable. This EP is a good taster of the DMB's sound, an eclectic blend of musical styles which includes the Flamenco feel to Dancing Nancies. They are not afraid to experiment, trying different sounds to avoid becoming pigeon-holed in a sort of "alternative" music slot.
To the uninitiated, Dave Matthews Band are quite possibly the most eclectic group around. They fuse African rhythms with a jazz/pop mix as well as anything else they come across that they like. This has led to the inclusion of a cajun feel on some of their tracks, whilst this CD seems to nod more towards Spanish/Latin influences. (A tradition continued in later work, including a duet with Carlos Santana on Supernatural).
As with Remember Two Things, many of these songs were recorded live, and the audience's appreciation seeps through.

All in all it really is a great collection of songs, but considering the cost (unless you can find it online) it could be considered to be for completists only, especially as many of the songs turn up elsewhere. If you are mainlu interested in the acoustic factor, you will get more value for your money by purchasing the "Live at Luthor College" 2 CD album.
In summary - the five songs are good, but considering their newer releases, you may prefer to give it a miss.
