Advantages: Great collections. Disadvantages: Can get crowded during peak periods
The Victoria and AlbertMuseum in London-often affectionately called the V&A-is arguably the finest and most interesting decorative art museum in the world. This is especially in the case of the visitor who has a broad sense of aesthetics but perhaps would not regard themselves has having a particularly learned background in art,art history and the decorative arts.
The V&A in some regards is unique in that it features exhibits from a diverse array of areas including sculpture, ceramics, furniture, jewellery, metalwork, textiles, clothing and many of these items are from different parts of the world, not just Britain.
The collection at this splendid Museum have been selected mainly on account of aesthetic reasons and their significance in the history of design and not only or essentially because of their historical importance ...
Advantages: Clean, comfortable and friendly Disadvantages: Traffic noise
I was working down in Cambridge a few weeks ago and the company thoughtfully pre-booked me accommodation at the Victoria Guest House on Arbury road. Rather more thoughtlessly, I was working at the opposite end of the city, so convenience was not their prime consideration.

Advantages: free so much to see wonderful objects Disadvantages: expensive food in the cafe, size can make it difficult to navigate

It is a place I have always quite fancied visiting but have only been in London visiting Duskman and it is not a place I think he would enjoy that much. Now that we actually live in London I thought I would spend near enough a day just wandering round this vast museum and appreciating the beautiful objects on display.
