Red Corner - Original Soundtrack

Advantages: great songs, feel good CD, all the songs from the film
Disadvantages: I can't find any!

...of August. It made over $170 million worldwide and became a blockbuster in terms of its audience’s love for the material. Dirty Dancing, musically, re wrote the record books in the music industry. It became a phenomenon all its own. The original soundtrack (which I have on record!) reached number 1 in the album charts, selling a million copies in its first 5 weeks. Then another album was released called More Dirty Dancing (which I also bought) was released and alongside the sales of the original soundtrack made sales exceed 20 million! A few of the hits released from the albums also stayed near or reached the top of the charts. It was also the first time that two albums released from the same film both reached the top of the charts. Advantages: Helps you re-live a fantastic series

...For anyone who is totally addicted to Doctor Who - this album is for you. If you thought Series 1&2 original sound track was good, then this will blow you away. Murray Gold has excelled himself once again, delivering a soundtrack high in passionate imagination-capturing content that really will take you back to The Doctor and his adventures. The Album begins with All the Strange Strange creatures, which is a compliation of all the generalised music used in many episodes in the series. There are also more episode-specific tracks like Evolution of the Daleks and Boe. But some of these do end sharply (as heard in the TV series) and over lap into some of the more general themes. There is also a track called The Doctor Forever which is done in similar vain to All the Strange, Strange Creatures and covers all the "Doctor" music used... Read review

...WOW! I love the film, and this soundtrack is absolutely amazing as well. Throughout the soundtrack I just want to get up and dance - and sometimes I do... LOL. It's the whole standing in front of a mirror with the hairbrush CD. If you're a big fan of the film like me, then this is the perfect CD as you know all of the words off by heart without even realising it! Everyone loves Patrick Swayze, and he sings track 3 (She's Like The Wind). It gives me goosebumps every time! What makes this soundtrack even better is the price. For less than a fiver there's all the fun of the film! It'll get you dancing before you know it! Although you'll wish you were dancing with Patrick rather than on your own. LOL.... Read review
