, and makes me feel that little bit better I love, and that pretty much sums up Rock ‘n Roll.
So I have amounted a number of ‘Best of......’ collections over the years, such as Jerry Lee-Lewis, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Billy Haley, Little Richard, and soon Carl Perkins (the man behind ‘Blue Suede Shoes’), and although Little Richard may have created Rock ‘n Roll and Elivs may have dressed it up well, and they’ve all had great hit songs, in my opinion, Chuck’s the one who really made it.
So Who Is ChuckBerry?
Charles Edward Anderson Berry was born on the 18th October 1926 in San Jose, California, America, he learnt to play the guitar and was nearly 30 when he released his first single, and that was in 1955, previously, at the age of 18, he’d spent some time in prison, for armed robbery, later ...

distortion that made his sound distinctive--putting the amp into overdrive created a guitar sound that would be recreated in the future by pedals and other effects, but he was the first to do it. Whatever the case, this collection defines the music of ChuckBerry and gives ...

I don’t know if this is under the correct heading but there are so many ChuckBerry compilations that go under the title “TheBest Of” or “TheVeryBest Of”. The monkey in my hand is called “TheBest Of” and is a double CD that you can pick up for around 6.99 GBP, is on the MCA label, and has a catalogue number of MCD 11560. Right that’s all the boring bits out of the way. The packaging and booklet are minimal , with two pictures of the man himself, and a track listing and the fact that all of the forty tracks within were composed by the man himself bar four.
Next I’ll give you a list of what the CD contains, to help you decide whether or not you wish to track it down.
CD One:
1. Roll over Beethoven
2. Sweet Little Sixteen
3. Johnny B. Goode
4. You Never Can ...
