It’s very well done but not punk in spirit at all, which I don’t mind, I was never a big fan of the music. It’s more like the prefabricated punk style we see on MTV and Kerang currently. This album was the very first album that I ever bought when it was released a few years back! It is a timeless classic that shows what real pop music was all about. it also showed that some 80's bands did actually have a bit of talent unlike some I could but won't mention. ...Yesterday the 50th birthday of one of Britains finest musicians, Sting. In the recent concert for victims of the US atrocities it was Sting who was the leading British artist to take part in the concert. This shows the immense stature which Sting has around the world as a musician and as an articulate ambassador for a number of causes. This all seems a world away from the early days of the Police when with Andy Summers and Stuart Copeland they burst on the scene with the great albums Outlandos d’Amour, Regatta de Blanc and Zenyatta Mondatta. From these albums came some brilliant singles. Cant Stand Losing You and Roxanne came from the first, Message In A Bottle and Walking On The Moon from the second and De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da and Don’t Stand So Close to Me from the third.
