Advantages: Fab compilation of all the hits Disadvantages: None at all
...Wow! What a fantastic CD! I could tell when I listened to it, that every song had been carefully hand picked to create such a smooth album. The songs seem to intertwine into one another.
All of the big reggae stars from the past captured onto two discs. Features such artists as:
-Shaggy
-Toots and the Maytals
-Desmond Decker
-Tony Tribe
-UB40
Bob Marley
Features such song as:
-Boombastic
-Mr Loverman
-Welcome to Jamrock
-Red Red Wine
-Wonderful World, Beautiful People
The makers of this compilation have done a really fantastic job rounding up these classic reggae hits. No need to such for odd songs in tens of CDs anymore. Everything I like about Reggae captured onto one CD.
Excellent value and a great buy for the reggae enthusiast....

Advantages: some classic reggae tracks including Rivers of babylon Disadvantages: 2 tracks are repeated
...There are not that many film soundtracks that are made into CD's and are played and treasured as an album in their own right. By the way, if you don't like Reggae read no further.

Advantages: Uplifting and a part of musical history Disadvantages: none!
...This is the soundtrack to the rather unusual film Rockers from 1978. Unusual in that the film contained most of Jamaica's reggaeartists of the time and they all made the filminto something worth watching. I recommend the movie to anyone interested in this album, Jamaican life or reggae in general. There are some brilliant and highly acclaimed artists on this including Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh, both of note for the fact that they played with Mr Marley for a while. To the more seasoned enthusiast the other names on this album will have you salivating...the likes of The Heptones, Gregory Isaacs, the Upsetters andBurning Spear. Oh and let us not forget one of the early reggaemasters: Jacob 'killer' Miller whom...
