This is not only one of the best dancehall/reggae albums, but one of the ... ...to anyone dancehall/reggae fan or not. Each and every song on this album is great, from song 2 to 9 and then song 11, 12and 17. On Buju Banton album you really have to listen to the lyrics, Buju is talking anout love, he telling a story and over all the tune to the songs are great. Although the other songs are good to I would have to say my favorite songs on the album are number 7 and 11. ...

One of the best albums I have heard in a long time. All the songs are brilliant, individual but classic Beenie. It’s a must on all stereos. ... ...are not Beenie fans, it is great. Simply because the music is truly first-rate, good quality reggae, with its catchy lyrics – believe me I have caught many a punk-rockers chattering along to “zim zimmer who got the keys to ma beamer?” see what I mean that is defiantly an instinctive to buy this album which will leave you truly amazed and in the mood for anything, it has many songs which makes it even better value for money.

“Mr. Mention” was released in 1992 as the second album from the Jamaican Dancehall musician Buju Banton. It dropped soon after his debut (within a year) and so had him showing just how productive he could be at the time as he brought lots of his Dancehall material (that became much more Reggae-styled as his career developed and he embraced Rastafarians ways. 1. “Batty Rider” The album opens up with one of the biggest singles that he had released ... ...that here you get him blasting through a fly tune that has him bringing through the sort of controversial lyrics that gave him notoriety when he broke into the game at the age of 15 with “Boom Bye Bye”.
