Advantages: Fun, Racy Tracks
Disadvantages: Songs aren't labeled by which band wrote them.

...shelf and it was the best £2 i ever spent! This is a brilliant abum featuring Neville Staple and his guest band with special appearences from Jane Wiedlin Jennifer and Leila Avila. The front cover design is based on traditional ska style with the black and white check and fully dressed Rude Boys, Pork Pies and all! The album inclides ska classics such as, -Ghost Town (which hit number one in 1981) -A message to you rudy -Our lips are sealed ...

Solabeat Alliance - Island Fire
Review of Island Fire - Solabeat Alliance by RazzaLazza

Advantages: Some uplifting, fun Ska Punk songs
Disadvantages: Not as good as it could have been

I have owned this CD for about 2 weeks now and have spent this time trying to work the CD out - it is really nothing like anything that I have seen with the Solabeat Alliance before, they have come up with something entirely different and really shocked me - it is not at all what I expected from them and has a much cleaner sound than before. With 'Rise On Up' the band seemed to be going for that live edge, which had not been captured with their previous ...
...shows the band in a whole new light - the production of it is extremely different and I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to work out whether I like it or not - and about some of the tracks I am still undecided. I really enjoyed the 'Rise On Up' EP but feel the songs which have been recorded for the album which were on Rise On Up, 'Summer Nights,' and 'Set It Off,' have not come off as well as they did on the EP, and I feel that the magic has not ... Nothing good ever comes out of Milton Keynes?
Review of Concrete And Udder Chaos - Graveltrap by RazzaLazza

Advantages: Great Pop Punk
Disadvantages: Been done before?

...- best known for its concrete roundabouts and…cows. So a pretty fitting album title from the MK pop punk band that is Graveltrap. The town is home to many great bands such as Capdown, Odd Man Out, and Phema - and Graveltrap are no exception to the trend. They play neat Pop Punk with a distinct English sound and play it a lot better than most of their American counterparts. This four piece only have an average age of 19 yet already have a large fan ...
...Graveltrap are an extremely talented young band that play infectious pop punk that gets stuck in your head - getting you singing along and jumping around manically. This twelve track album proves to be something special with pounding bass lines, loud guitar playing, fast drumming and awesome vocals. They have already had success with tune 'S.R.J' on P-Rock TV and are now moving on to try to conquer Scuzz with the same song with the video that can ... Read review

Jewish Reggae.. Matisyahu - Live at Stubb's
Review of Live At Stubb's [Digipak] - Matisyahu by dangaroo

Advantages: Good music, reggae brought back to a roots sound
Disadvantages: None

Live at Stubb's is Matisyahu's 2nd album and his 1st live album recorded at Stubbs in Austin, Texas. It was released in February, 2005 by JDubRecords. If you are not familiar with Matisyahu, he's an intriguing chap, a New York Jew (Matisyahu is the Yiddish pronunciation of Matthew), who dresses in the traditional clothing of a Hasidic Jew and doesn't perform on the sabbath. He spent several years taking hallucinogens and touring with the rock band ...
...Matisyahu Miller - Vocals Roots Tonic: Aaron Dugan - Guitar Josh Werner - Bass Guitar Johan David - Drums Yoni - MC (on Beat Box) Beat Box is a particularly good song but I liked them all and it works well as it's a live concert. ... Read review
