...Wow! What a fantastic CD! I could tell when I listened to it, that every song had been carefully hand picked to create such a smooth album. The songs seem to intertwine into one another. All of the big reggae stars from the past captured onto two discs. Features such artists as: -Shaggy -Toots and the Maytals -Desmond Decker -Tony Tribe -UB40 Bob Marley Features such song as: -Boombastic -Mr Loverman -Welcome to Jamrock -Red Red Wine -Wonderful World, Beautiful People The makers of this compilation have done a really fantastic job rounding up these classic reggae hits. No need to such for odd songs in tens of CDs anymore. Everything I like about Reggae captured onto one CD. Excellent value and a great buy for the reggae enthusiast.... Read review

Disadvantages: Too many songs by same artist.

...by the same singer i.e. elephant man has two songs, beanie man has two songs. Dont get me wrong the songs are brilliant but its a three disc compilation, you want to cram as many different artists on there as possible. But its still a brilliant CD - again good for strutting ya stuff on the dancefloor. Disc 3 is more of a chill out style CD with your oldies. Its got red red wine, tease me and various other songs. That you could dance to but you could equally sit there in your chair and just let the rythym relax you! The songs on this disc are very soft to listen to, I suppose its like your 80's version of Reggae. However, there is the original of "who let the dogs out" which can be a bit overpowering when you've just chilled yaself out and then ya ears get blasted off. Advantages: Relaxing,

...It's not another junk commerical english release. The Cafe Del Mar series have provided me with music to work and relax to. Cafe del mar volume 7 is my personal favourite offering artists such as Bent, Bush, Moby & Lux. The sound of the ablum is very laid back and awesome for a hot summer day. The tracking listing is as follows 1. Northern Lights - Lux A fantastic slow start to the album. Featuring no vocals, the track has a slow, mediterrian sound to it. 2. Breather 2000 (Arithunda Mix) - Afterlife Featuring female vocals, this is another laid back album with the sound of the sea in parts. English vocals but spanish sounding in my opinion. 3. Whispering Wind - Moby I'd imagine Moby to be the best known artist on this album but I'd have to put this track down as one of my least favourites. The track, while still good is very...
