Advantages: A new sound, slightly more mature, slightly darker tone than previous releases, some originality, some well produced songs. Disadvantages: Too many sexual references, her openness towards sex seems so fake, vocally she still isn’t that impressive, some songs are quite annoying.
......‘Cause she’s certainly heading the right way to getting in to it.
“In the zone” was probably Britney Spears make it or break it album. She has recently been in the media for all the wrong reasons and needs to get back in there musically, as she’s been on a break for quite some time now. I for one don’t like what Britney represents. She is the epitome of the term ‘sex sells’. I am a huge fan of Christina Aguilera, and you could say Christina is way more sexually overt than Britney but with Christina it feels genuine, with Britney it doesn’t. She has been desperately trying to get attention, doing things like kissing Madonna, revealing to the world she is no longer a virgin, and doing a very risqué photo shoot for Esquire magazine, seems the poor girl is scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
This album in my opinion is nothing...

Advantages: Catchy tunes, great music, Britney's back! Disadvantages: A few songs let it down
...Last year falling pop princess, Britney Spears, announced that she was going on a six month break after the highly-publicised break up with Justin Timberlake, the split between her parents and the pressure of the press speculating her every move.
During her absence from the music world, Britney created something new and unique.
Soon came the extremely controversial kiss with Madonna at the MTV video music awards and many sexy 'bare-all' photoshoots leading up to what was to be Britney's fourth album - 'In The Zone', released November 2nd, 2003.
The album opens with the first single release from 'In The Zone' featuring Madonna, 'Me Against The Music'. It's a great booty-shakin' song that gets you up and dancing, but I can't help thinking that it would have been better without Madonna. God, how I hate Madonna.
The next song...

Advantages: Feel Good, Feel Sexy Album Disadvantages: None
...!) she shows she CAN write, and yes people she plays the PIANO on the tear jerking soulful ballad 'Everytime' a ballad that isn't corny and predictable, but REAL, you feel that you know where she's coming from.
The Hookup is Spears' attempt at reggae, and MY GOD the girl pulls it off well, even BEYONCE is a fan! Respect to Britney here! Breathe on me, is a smashing track! Relaxing, sexual and funky, spears shows her amazing and actual vocal range, it's VERY impressive.
As much as i'd like to go through all the tracks, there's no time, id be here forever writing how amazing they are! If you thought Britney was a predictable Pop Princess before, forget Oops i did it again! This girl is the new Princess of Urban music! It's a whole new Britney, a whole new music flavour, A whole new zone!...
