Album Notes: This six track EP from the gory goth metalists is highlighted by "Satan Never Sleeps," and also features "Deny The Holy Book Of Lie" and "By Dark Glorious Thoughts."
Advantages: Great musicianship, classic songs, clear production Disadvantages: Some weak tracks
..."Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" is yet another fantastic album from Symphonic Metal masters, Dimmu Borgir.
I found this album to be highly enjoyable and bursting with talent and originality. The band clearly demonstrate that they are masters of their craft, with the majority of the songs here being laced with catchy guitar hooks, beautiful keyboard passages and empowered blast beat drumming, all tightly and flawlessly executed. This album supplies some of the band's greatest and most memorable material in the form of the tracks 'Mourning Palace" "In Death's Embrace" and "Master Of Disharmony"

Advantages: typical Nightwish, style; altogether, the CD is an ear feast & surely one the lovely song of Tarja in connection with the Drums, guitars and co. ., the best of the band; Disadvantages: two titles meet my approval in comparison with the others of some

This review is hugely OTT. Sure it's good. It doesn't break new ground, it sounds like coldplay. I don't think you can fault that, what did you want from a coldplay album? I certainly didn't want Kid A! But the fact remains that this album sound uniformly the same. Each track is beautiful and well produced. Yet I do want to see progression from a band, otherwise we'll just have another Oasis forever...
