Advantages: Face melting riffs, bone crushing vocals.
Disadvantages: Some key songs in Panteras legacy missing.

Pantera are a Heavy Metal band that influenced many of the current popular Metal bands. They are sadly more well known after the death of lead guitarist "Dimebag" Daryl Abbott. Hopefully this album will show people that Pantera were well worth the hype they received. Understandably the album contains only the Cowboys From Hell+ era and excludes the Glam Rock era they were so ashamed of. And that's fine as nobody remembers the glam rock days anyway. ...
...for, not the conflict, the drugs or the tragic death of Dimebag. They should be remembered for the pure skill of Dimebag, the great lyrics of Anselmo and the thumping drums of Vinnie Paul (I left Rex Brown out because his bass was nothing special). In the album you have a great range of styles covered by Pantera. From the down and dirty style of Domination to melodic riffs of Cemetery Gates.
