Rammstein-Reise Reise
Achtung! Achtung!
Once again I start off a Rammstein review by stating the power of the German language when it comes to drama and power, whether its shouting 'Warning', or shouting ' Hermaphrodite' it gives off a perfect essence of dramatics.
And this is where ... Read review

Advantages: Excellent riffs and orchestral pieces, excellent overall Disadvantages: Some may find it annoying you cant understand the lyrics
...please them all, so does Reise Reise live up to its predecessors, or is it the first time Rammstein have fallen flat on their backs?

REISE REISE:-(4:11)
This song opens the new album up with some instantly recognisable sound effects and guitar work, this all sounds rather like the way the Song 'SONNE' sounded at first with the chunky riff and the orchesteral sounds. This of course is no bad thing and Once the vocals break ... ...flows perfectly as Till purrs(almost) Reise Reise behind a monster riff that works very well.
Theres a litle accordian piece at the end that ends the first song on the album perfectly and leaves you thinking, hey this has started off really quite well.
MEIN TEIL:-(4:32)
This opens up directly after Reise Reise with a storming guitar and drum riff and some powerful sound effects to accompany it. For the verse theres a Muse-esque down tuned bass ...

Advantages: Instantly recognisable, powerful, unique, hugely entertaining. Disadvantages: Controversial? Not for everyone...
...never heard of.
Reise, Reise is their fourth full-length studio album, and has been several years in the making. It was worth the wait…
THE CD
Reise, reise is a new release so there’s little chance of finding it at a bargain price. The best deal I found was on Amazon.co.uk where it’s available for just £8.99. I believe it’s also available at this price on CD-wow. The front cover is designed to look like a Flight Data Recorder, a theme which is ... ...THE SONGS
1) REISE, REISE - The title track gets the album off to a superb start. This track is actually a reprise to the song ‘Seemann’ from the first album. It’s instantly haunting and recognisable as Rammstein, fairly slow and melodic with a very powerful chorus. It reminds me a little of the similarly powerful ‘Mein Herz Brennt’ which starts off the album previous to this. Watch out for the beautiful instrumental section about halfway through. ...

Advantages: you can't get a better cd! Disadvantages: if you understand the lyrics they're a bit raw
...first song on the album, Reise Reise, seems to be a follow up to "Seeman" from the first album but the anger, the passion, the butterflies in your tummy you get from listening is still there...
Megaherz are another German band who I think are great friends of Rammstein and they have also written and performed a song called "Ohne Dich" but that (sadly) is not the song on Reise Reise. It's still one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard though. ... ...in love again and again... with Rammstein (sorry Tom). The one song i have a bit of problem with is Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama himself had a fear of flying and this song is about plane crashes... like I said...a bit raw. I think this is still a little too close to home after 911 but Rammstein do aim to shock.
Further to this, if one rewinds the CD, past 0 seconds to -35 seconds and then allow the CD to play, the "soundtrack" of a crashing plane's black ...

Album Notes: One of the more unlikely success stories in music-business history, German heavy-metal collective Rammstein creates a totally uncompromising and wildly (some would say ridiculously) dramatic sound that combined elements of goth, industrial, Wagnerian opera, and progressive rock, with lyrics sung almost exclusively in German. Rammstein's concerts were even more over-the-top than the ensemble's recorded output, matching the performance art-inspired wackiness of Devo with the gross-out antics of Gwar.
Album Reviews: CMJ (p.16) - \"[S]ung completely in Rammstein's native German, accompanied by harsh riffs that are punctuated by blips, samples and sprawling synths.\"
