I like football, rugby and music. I firmly believe in the power of alcohol to make anyone more attractive, suave and sophisticated... ain't it the truth!?

I don’t normally buy compilation albums due to the fact the first disc is normally cool and the second disc is normally a pair of great big soggy pants – but no more.
Reloaded 3 is the third in the series (hence the cunningly positioned numeral) and belongs to a series that keeps on getting better.
From the minute you hit play on the first disc and Limp Bizkit come “Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’” out of your speakers (do you like what I did there?) you know you’re in for a good sound session.
This album is best played very loud and is a fantastic way to wake yourself up – although for the good of your ear drums I’d suggest a healthy five minutes between you waking up and you playing this. You may wish to try and playing it very loudly as you drive towards work.
As with all compilations, there are particular tracks that stand out, and Reloaded 3 is no different. Muse and “New Born” is lay-on-you-arm-and-spit-on-your-hand-fantastic and demands to be repeated at full volume several times!!!!
Now then, as I’ve previously said my musical tastes vary (I have been known to attend the odd opera or other such classical recitals) and this album caters for quite a scope of my tastes – although it is devoid of Mendlessohn or Faure.
Disc Two brings forth David Gray, I Monster, Semisonic and many more besides. U2 give a one-off performance ably supported by Stereophonics.
Just by looking at a few of these artists you should have gauged that the album is cool – but I don’t feel that I have adequately conveyed just how cool this album is.
Seriously, pop down to your local HMV/Virgin or Our Price and purchase your own copy. Alternatively, arrange a long term “Borrow” from a friend who is infinitely more cool than you are (because they’ve already bought their copy) and enjoy it that way.
Just does it – you know you want to.
