Advantages: A good mix of songs Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework
...A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to.
I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you, because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-)
Housework vol1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie.
The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits, but I honestly think its marketed wrong, this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents...

Advantages: Absolutely delightful with plenty of different musical styles to keep things varied Disadvantages: "Asuka Strikes!" is really horrendous
.... The sound quality is crisp and clear, with none of the instruments drowning out in too wet a mix.
The availability is a whole other matter. Originally released under the Japanese Geneon label, the rights for international distribution were bought by BMG who undertook to re-release just about all the Evangelion soundtracks. I have no idea whether any of these are still in print, though considering the popularity of the music (as well as the series), I would not rule out the possibility. The best bet would be to check Amazon or eBay for used copies as there always seems to be some available (usually going at around £6-12).
CONCLUDING WORDS

Advantages: A musical tour of a hugely overlooked and misunderstood talent, who has an ability to adapt a wide range of musical styles and influences into his work without it sounding at all hokey. The sleeve notes/interview are also extremely valuable. Disadvantages: Only tells half the story, and anything since 1988 is obviously not featured

BAD CASE OF LOVING YOU makes a cracking opener, a 1978 recording remixed due to Palmer's dissatisfaction with the original's production. An all-out rocker that pre-dates the likes of Simply Irresistable by a whole decade, it proves what a great rock vocalist he can be.
PRIDE showcases the wry humour so often present in his work, yet nearly always overlooked. Utilising a style of World Music called Juju a good five years before Paul Simon's high-profile Graceland album arrived on the scene, the lyric is a tongue-in-cheek, but still pertinent, reply to Olivia...
