Advantages: A good mix of songs Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework
...A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to.
I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you, because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-)
Housework vol1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie.
The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits, but I honestly think its marketed wrong, this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents...

Advantages: A musical tour of a hugely overlooked and misunderstood talent, who has an ability to adapt a wide range of musical styles and influences into his work without it sounding at all hokey. The sleeve notes/interview are also extremely valuable. Disadvantages: Only tells half the story, and anything since 1988 is obviously not featured

Though the title makes a play on his biggest hit, this CD...

Advantages: Some good dance tracks across genres Disadvantages: Not as good as some of their other compilations
...not up to the calibre of a lot of Hed Kandi that I have bought. While I like the chill out tracks in small doses, most of these tracks are six to eight minutes long which is a bit too long for me.
Disco Heaven Mix
By nature of its title I expected this to be my favourite disc, though I was concerned after the Beach House Mix and opening track Real Love by Soul System although a good track was not as good as some that I have heard on this label. Mood II Swing's Can't Get Away From You is a better track. Space Cowboy's Crazy Talk was better but was not blowing me away. Martin Solveig's Rockin' Music was another disappointment. Stonebridge's Put 'Em High is a brilliant track, but has been on many Kandi compilations. Soulsearcher's Feelin' Love added nothing to the mix, but Love is the Music by FR featuring Jenny B was better, and I...
