So to the Remasters album itself....
This consists of twenty six tracks taken from their eight studio albums proper. Because so much of their music , especially on the first four albums and Physical Graffiti, is essential listening , there have had to be apparently glaring omissions, but when you are compiling music of this stature , the CD does show it's limitations. Advantages: everything really Disadvantages: not much
Led Zeppelin
Remasters
Double CD
Produced By Jimmy Page
Background
The group consisting of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham. John Paul Jones was formed in the summer of 1968.
The band's sales are in excess 80 million units, (and that is still growing) making them second only to the Beatles as the all-time top-selling group.
The group uses virtually no electronic music (decks etc.) They mainly use guitars, mostly the Les Paul guitar played ... ...Breakdown (2:28)
A brilliant start then a middle which doesn't disappoint.
9/10
2. Babe I'm gonna Leave You (6:41)
A slow song which is very relaxing. Good vocals and guitar playing.
8/10
3. Good Times Bad Times (2:43)
One of the shortest tracks on the CD yet still good. It is a lively song that is mainly singing.

Advantages: Classic rock songs Disadvantages: Should have been a better booklet
As Led Zeppelin produced so much good stuff, it’s not an easy task to whittle it down to a mere 2 CD set. But this is an valiant attempt, and I think it really does represent their best work. Jimmy Page himself was involved in its production, too, so that gives it plenty of kudos in my book. There’s 2 hours 25 minutes’ worth of music in total, 26 songs, and almost everything here is essential stuff.
If you don’t want to invest ... ...start.
If we’re just talking about the music, I have to admit this album probably deserves a 5 star rating – or 4 and a half anyway.
A better booklet and there would have been nothing else for it but to give it 5 stars.
In essence, it’s raunchy, raw rock and roll, with R&B rootsiness. “Whole lotta love”, “Rock and roll” “Immigrant sing” have never been bettered. Jimmy Page’s greatness ...

Advantages: Lots of great tracks Disadvantages: One bad song, not all they're greats are on the album
If you own no Led Zeppelin albums this is a very good place to start. It features most of their well known and best loved songs, though there are a few notable omissions. Mind you, this just gives you an excuse to buy their other albums! As for the well known songs, well there’s Communication Breakdown, Whole Lotta Love, Stairway to Heaven and Kashmir for the main but they’re far from the only good songs. In fact, the only bad track is Led Zep’s ...

Advantages: Heart stopping music from the masters Disadvantages: still, they missed some gems :Moby Dick? When the Levee Breaks?
These are the remasters of from the tapes recorded so many years ago produced by Jimmy Page. Now, he has awoken the the spirit and pure energy of the band Led Zeppelin and they are back with avengence with this wonderful compilation through the first and second half of their truly stunning career. From the amazingly powerful blues-rock of their first album to the beautiful and imaginative folk echoing through albums 3 and 4 and the epic scale of ... ...ending years as a band. From John Bonham's drumming to rock the very gates of Hell, followed closely by John Paul Jones' oh so funky and rocking basslines, to Jimmy Page's unnaturally superhuman guitar riffs and solos that lifts him to the status of godly, and Robert Plant's Banshee voice that sounds so wickedly brilliant. This has awoken their unrivalled past and has trully lifted their music up to the gods-absolutely outstanding. This can only have ...

Advantages: Folk tales, gentle acoustics, haunting vocals strung along with perfectly distorted guitars, the height of rock n roll!!! Disadvantages: NONE
...hoppy ales hehe.Plant's voice seems to get lost in bass and it's wattage has been reduced to a deep whine or plea, untill the riffs pause for breath and Plant's voice surfaces it seems as if the riffs are sufacating him and he keeps gasping for breath, engenious. The lyrics are so amazingly poetic 'on the misty mountains where the spirits fly' called on by the rolling and streaming drums, the backbone for the song seems as if a flowing Jones keyboard has been up to some tricks and is flowing power all through this song, amazing riffs!
Four sticks is amazing and is not included on any ledzeppelin best of or remastered so you greatest hits owners who think you have all the led zep.IV songs nope not this hidden gem.Rolling distortion from Page's guitars and Plant's most addictive posesive lyrics which climb up and down with the guitar melodies...
