Advantages: Deep songs with both harsh and subtle complexeties Disadvantages: Takes concentration to gain the most from it
...Pain of Salvation are a Swedish progressive metal band who were formed in 1991 by the brilliant Daniel Gildenlow who not only plays guitar on the LP but also provides the main vocals and composes all the music. Being progressive you can expect lots of key changes and strange time signatures but with a harder sound incorperating many other aspects of more modern metal.
'Remedy Lane' is the bands fourth album release which was written during a two month period in 2001 by Gildenlow and released to tremendous praise from the metal community when it finally reached the public in 2002.

Advantages: Original, intelligent, different to most other predictable, cheesy dance music thatis around at the moment. Disadvantages: One track: Bingo Bango. Let's the side down a bit.

The slow tempo that kicks the track off carries on again until the chorus before altering slightly then returning to the original pace ad sound. Not only does the track musically sound like a BNL track but lyrically Mraz has gone for a comical approach to the lyrics, which makes the song easy to listen to.

It starts with a slow looping guitar before the drums come in mixed with a slight sample and finally the vocals. At the same time as the vocals the track takes on more of a settled form with the drums really leading the way while the guitars really compliment his voice. The chorus is stronger than the verse but ultimately...
