The Basement Jaxx album "Remedy" is a stellar production which covers many different aspects of house music. The Jaxx's groovy, deep house style reigns supreme on this album, with each track having a completely unique sound and focus. The album starts out with the single "Rendez Vu" and sets the mood for the rest of the trip. "Red Alert", another single from the album, has a bit more of a groovy feel to it, with soulful vocals layered over the top of a funky bassline. All in all, the album is good for BOTH listening and dancing, which is rare today, when most albums are not ones you could play at a party with much of a result. I reccomend this album to anyone who enjoys good electronic music, because of the excellent production and track selection on this album, as well as the fact that it has become a milestone in the house movement.
