Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Not worth the cheapness
...Firsty, this music is not "emo", no music is emo, emo does not exist. OK? The songs on here are lacking anything but emotion i.e. talent. How on earth did these people manage to release this CD. HOW I ask thee? I'm pretty dissapointed with the idea that there are people out there making money of a supposed subculture by ticking the word "emo" in the title and expecting people to jump for joy and bundle it off the shelves. Why did I buy it the? I hear you ask ... simply because I was interested, in the same way that curiosity killed that cat, I think you can say: curiosity has deafened me to the point of existence, how am I meant to enjoy the x-factor now? Oh... wait ... perhaps this means I don't have to listen to those gay eton road boys and their followers ... maybe this CD was a blessing in disguise,,,,...

Advantages: Deep songs with both harsh and subtle complexeties Disadvantages: Takes concentration to gain the most from it
...Pain of Salvation are a Swedish progressive metal band who were formed in 1991 by the brilliant Daniel Gildenlow who not only plays guitar on the LP but also provides the main vocals and composes all the music. Being progressive you can expect lots of key changes and strange time signatures but with a harder sound incorperating many other aspects of more modern metal.
'Remedy Lane' is the bands fourth album release which was written during a two month period in 2001 by Gildenlow and released to tremendous praise from the metal community when it finally reached the public in 2002.
As are all of their albums 'Remedy Lane' is a concept piece but whereas some of their subjects tackle the bigger questions about God and war 'Remedy' is a much more introspective view dealing with topics such as love, loss and lust and is in large...

Advantages: Original, intelligent, different to most other predictable, cheesy dance music thatis around at the moment. Disadvantages: One track: Bingo Bango. Let's the side down a bit.
...So. I'm white dot bloke am I? What kind of stupid system is this? I'm not impressed with Ciao at the moment, what with crappy pay systems, derogatory community ratings, etc. but I was bored, so I decided to put another opinion on the site. So I looked through my music collection. Because my music collection rules. Apart from my Limp Bizkit CD, but the less I say about that, the better. But sifting through my albums, some of which are scattered across the floor unfortunately, I found Basement Jaxx's debut album, 'Remedy'. And remembering how much I liked it last time I listened to it, I put it on. And somehow, after about a year of not listening to it, it sounds even better than it did before.
