Advantages: Good compilation of The Smiths for someone wanting to get into the band, or someone with an interest in their music
Disadvantages: Some of their best material weren't released as singles, and so aren't on this album. Not as good as 'Very Best of the Smiths'

.... It was the second single from the album ‘The Smiths’ and is track number 6, and track 4 on ‘Hatful of Hollow’. Best Lyric? “Why pamper life's complexity - when the leather runs smooth - on the passenger seat?” What’s it like? One of The Smiths most famous songs. It opens with a really cool jangly riff (any fellow guitar players reading be warned this is NOT an easy song to play), before the funk-filled bass joins in and makes it a real jaunty foot tapper, and one of the most loved Smiths songs. The theme of the song appears to be Morrissey’s battle with his own sexuality and the idea that he may be gay. Advantages: Great snapshot of a great indie band
Disadvantages: not heard enough to be appreciated

...released "Day dream in Blue" with the same sample in. They scored big, meaning that the Beta Band had to change the single due to the difficulties and confusion 'Squares' would have created by being released. Here is the track listing of CD 1, the studio recorded tracks Dry the Rain First single, and arguably their best. Certainly one of the more 'complete' songs the Beta Band have ever created. Starting with a basic acoustic guitar the track builds up musically and is as catchy as anything they ever released, and probably hence the inclusion on a Hollywood made film. For me it's the throw away lyrics of "this is a definition of my life, lying in bed in the sunlight, choking on a vitamin tablet doctor gave in the hope of saving me"; extremely poignant and worthy of 10/10 Inner Meet Me Another track...
