Advantages: Recaptures some of the magic of earlier albums Disadvantages: Perhaps a little quiet for some, after the extremity of earlier work
.......gentle and sensitive man..." This is no "Rubberband Girl", and I'm starting to feel that some of the previous album's weaknesses have been well and truly leftbehind.
Following, comes Bertie, a celebration of her son. Wow! She's sounding like the Kate I know and love. Starting with a Renaissance Guitar, her clear pure voice joins in with the medieval dance. "Lovely, lovely, lovely..." It brings the joy of morning sun, of new life, in a sort of "Suspended In Gaffa" way!
I am really starting to warm to this album by now, and there is a feeling of excitement and anticipation of even better to come. In sharp contrast with Bertie, Kate turns dark and almost sinister with a piano / vocal ballad, Mrs Bartolozzi, ostensibly about a washing machine. But listen closely, peeps. This is an emotional tour de force. Its simple but effective production strongly...

Advantages: Massive variety, hours of fun! Disadvantages: Some not too keen on!
...I was browsing the shelves at my local HMV, when I spied this CD; the cover was a gorgeous aqua-blue, with an image of our world centred on the front. Surrounding it was images of several Disney characters, including some of my favourites; Simba, Minnie and Mickey, Buzz Light-year and a selection of others. And to make it even more exciting, this treasure was only £9.95! I simply could not wait any longer to purchase it!
After treating myself to this fabulous find, I took it home and began to examine straight away! Included with it is a little brochure explaining a little bit about each song! After pondering over each track carefully, I decided I should share my magical...

Advantages: Great original soundtrack Disadvantages: Can become boring if listened to too much
... Overview
If you enjoyed the film, then the music probably had a part to play in your opinion. The first time I listened to this soundtrack I was really impressed - it seriously is good. After a while however, the tracks can become a bit monotonous as they do repeat themselves. It is easy to picture the film when listening to the music. The best tracks are probably 'Interrogation' and 'Treasure'. I think that if you can find this CD for under ten pounds then it is certainly worth a purchase. Make sure you don't 'over-listen' to it. Some OSTs can be repeated over and over again without getting boring. I usually come back to this soundtrack every couple of weeks or so and I still love to listen to it. It can't compete to a lot of work by John Williams or Hans Zimmer, although I think Trevor Rabin had done a good job...
