Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction - Various Artists

Advantages: You'll already know most of the tunes
Disadvantages: It's got that blasted Guinness advert on it.

...As the title of this CD would suggest, it's devoted to music from cult films. Clearly a homage of the Tarantino way of doing things, right down to the name of the CD, this contains mainly groovy 70's numbers. Disadvantages: Couple not so great tracks

...there stuff. The cover is simple but effective as the red and black jumps out at you and really sets the mood of these bluesy tunes. The main artists are listed on the front and the full track listing on the back. The front cover also pulls out and its actually an A3 poster. The poster is a similar image to the cover but with a bit of yellow. I don't think you'd use this as then your CD would be bare? Jackson The soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's breakthrough movie Pulp Fiction is arguably one of the best soundtrack albums you'll ever hear. Like Tarantino's other movie soundtracks like Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, it combines a few great songs that were past hits with tracks that most music listeners have never heard before. Unlike those soundtracks, Pulp Fiction is great from beginning to end with the more obscure tracks being arguably better than the more established songs. All of the tracks here that were past hits are very strong. Kool & The Gang's "Jungle Boogie" is one of the best funk jams from the '70s. Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" is '70s soul at its best.
