Im writing this review 4 years after the release of the platinum album BTNHResurrection and I still think its really good.

Bone Thugs N Harmony are a rap group that come from Cleveland, Ohio. Their fast rhymes and smooth beatz have been playing commercially for over 10 years. Their greatest achievement was the success of the tribute track "tha crossroads", when it made it to the top of the Billboard top 100.

After the release of the "Art of War", their only double CD album, a compilation CD with DJ U-Neek remixes was the only thing to come from Bone Thugs. Haters started saying they "fell off" and there were rumours of the splitting of the group.

Then finally, in 2000 they released an amazing album. Resurrection quickly went platinum in the US and it did very well in the UK, despite the smaller number of fans.

1. Show em - An intro to the album starting with a bit of talking and then a display of what Bone are capable of.

2. The Righteous Ones - A track with good music and really good female vocals from "davids daughters". smooth track with tight rhymes.

3. 2 Glocks - Heavy bass, different beat. Fast raps.

4. Battlezone - I luv this track. Its got the "swing low, sweet chariot" as an intro/chorus. After this, Bizzy unleashes some crazy rhymes. Layzie then comes in with some great lyrics and finally Krayzie finishes the track with hardcore rap lasting 2 minutes.

5. Ecstacy - This is a really relaxing track about Bone getting high on Ex. At the beginning they talk about Ex being better than weed and then they go into the tune. The rapping in this track is very smooth but still fast.

6. Murder One - This starts straight into the rap, no music. Similar music to other tracks. Great chorus, sung by Bizzy.

7. Souljahs Marching - Great intro music. average sorta chorus (nuthin special). 'in your face' beat and rapping.

8. Servin the fiends - Intro from DJ U-Neek, leading into the beat, and then finally into the rapping. Bizzy raps sum amazing lines. Good rappin all the way through.

9. Resurrection (Paper, Paper) - THis was the main release from this album. Very nice, mellow music. Cool rapping, krayzies rhymes are tight (sayin Bone never went anywhere). Pretty good video too.

10. Can't give it up - fast rhymes, heavy bass.

11. Weed Song - Like Ecstacy, a very relaxin track. Mellow music and smooth raps.

12. Change The World - This is an amazing track. Wicked music, piano etc. Chorus/Backing vocals by Big B (amazing). Really good lyrics about changing ourselves for future generations. Excellent Video.

13. Don't worry - pretty good lyrics again. nice beat and bass. Mellow chorus and smooth rhymes.

14. Mind on our Money - Big up bone kinda track. Krayzie raps a timeline about what has happened since they started.

15. No Way out - Nice singing, quite a good beat and music. fast rappin, decent lyrics.

16. One night stand - This is a bonus track which is a Bizzy Bone solo. Nice and smooth but at times he lets out sum amazing lines. very mellow.

This is a really good album, and a must if you are a bone fan. If not, I'd still consider buying it. It was the first bone album I got and I became a huge fan after I got it. Now I have all the albums.
