I wrote this review yonks ago thought I would find it out as last night we watched a tv prog about Pionk floyd Darkside of moon and it brought nback all those magic adolescent moments for me , This record is certanly magic to listen too we have it on cd now.
Saturday Morning I was dusting and came across these large round black discs that have a groove running around the it and a hole in the middle. Speak to me/Breathe: an introduction that managed to sum up the album in one minute. One of the clocks on time, the ?cash register? sequence of money, the wailing vocals from ?the great gig in the sky?, a dark pulsating VCS3 and a few sound bytes on the subject of madness. This sound collage leads us into the soothing electric piano and slide guitar sounds of Breathe. However, the lyrical tone is pessimistic, as much of Water?s output on here is. We are quite fortunate to have quite a few local breweries near to us is Chesterfield. One of these local beer producers is Spire Brewery. They have a brewery tap (a pub that is tied to them and serves their beer) in New Tupton, not far from Chesterfield, called the Britannia. It is here that we usually get to sample some of their excellent beers. One of our favourites at the moment is DarkSide of the Moon.

Spire Brewery Ltd is based in two industrial units in Staveley, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The owner and head brewer is David McLaren, an ex secondary school teacher and member of the Her Majesty's Scots Guards.
