Advantages: Amazing voice, pure talent Disadvantages: always mostly singing about boys
Taylor Swift: Fearless
Now i tend to venture outside the old rock zone which i have comfortably settled in but i dont go out those zones often, i listen to the likes of Dixie Chicks and Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus and i have recently come across this woman...Taylor Swift. Did not think i would like her at all but my mom bought the cd and while she was playing i couldnt help but think...oh my god she has talent! I noticed though all her songs are mainly about boys and falling in love which doesnt really appeal to me if its everysingle song, yeah on this track its nearly everysingle song but they all seem unique to me...different.
Taylor Swift released her first devut single which was called Tim Mcgraw in 2006 and then a few months later in october sometime she released her self titled album. She was one of the biggest ...
Advantages: Cute story, funny in parts, good performances, Disadvantages: Over sentimental, pretty predictable
- Introduction -
Drillbit Taylor is a movie that comes from the people behind Knocked Up and Superbad, or so the TV ads say anyway. This is the more family friendly version of those movies though, its not as rude as those movies I believe but it does have its own share of humour, being a comedy movie, of course. This is also the last movie that Owen Wilson had worked on before *that* incident in August, I believe filming finished in May or June last year, something like that.
As people probably know, I'm a big fan of Owen Wilson and I had heard about this movie for a few months, apart from him being in it though, I do like a good comedy and the story sounded quite good, so for all those reasons I decided to treat myself to another trip to the cinema to see it and I just got back from seeing it this afternoon, this review is being ...
Advantages: great vocals and songwriting Disadvantages: a few weaker tracks in the middle, not released in the UK yet
I first heard of Taylor Swift when I heard "Teardrops on My Guitar" on internet radio and promptly downloaded it. A few months later I heard "Our Song" and read an interview in a magazine as her debut album was to be reissued. Well, here it is, and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
For those of you who are not familiar with her, Taylor is quickly making a big name for herself in the country music world - and she's only 18! After setting out to Nashville at the age of 13 from her home in Pennsylvania, she quickly snapped up a record contract and her debut single Tim McGraw was released in 2006, and to date all three of her singles have made not only the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot Country Songs (Our Song reaching number one), but also the Top 40 of the Billboard 100. This self-titled album, first released in 2006 and reissued in late ...
