Advantages: Massive sounding songs, can listen to a million times

...Thrice's two part concept album Alchemy Index which has been completely produced and recorded by Thrice them selves. The disks were mostly recorded from there home studio by Teppei Teranishi the lead guitarist of thrice whilst Dustin as usual took the leading role in writing most of the material. Advantages: Excellent lyrics and fantastically written and performed
Disadvantages: It's very difficult to stop listening to!

...my favourite volumes of the Alchemy Index as each track is superbly written and really does present each element well. The 'Fire' tracks are heavy and rocky and give that uncontrollable feel of fire, whereas the 'Water' tracks are calm and actually quite soothing when you listen to them properly, just as water would be.
